Originally from Atlanta, Elisabeth Koch attended the renowned Wombourne School of Millinery in the UK. After graduation, she set up Elisabeth Koch Millinery in Beijing in 2007.

Koch's hats and hair pieces have been worn by royalty, movie stars and have gone to Royal Ascot, the Melbourne Cup, Kentucky Derby and weddings world-wide.  After a short documentary on Koch's life in Beijing -- as a milliner, as a mother of 2 young children, as a foreigner -- Koch will tell us what it's like to be the only hat-maker on Mainland China. How did she find this profession? Why hats? Why her? Why there? Get the answers plus see how hats are made the old-fashioned way and how the Chinese celebrities found her.

There will be Elisabeth Koch Millinery hats available to try on and purchase. Many of these unique hats will be shown at Atlanta International Fashion Week (AIFW) in July 2016.  Koch also gives hat-making workshops.
